American forces seized an empty oil tanker that is part of Russia's so-called shadow fleet.

Footage appeared to show an American military helicopter approaching the Marinerra

in the North Atlantic. The ship had been heading to Venezuela to big up oil before it turned towards

Europe. Russia had sent naval vessels to escort the ship. Separately, American forces claimed to have

said that the Trump administration would control the sale of oil from Venezuela, quote,

indefinitely. Earlier, Donald Trump said Venezuelan authorities agreed to

export up to 50 million barrels of crude worth around $3 billion to the United States. He said the

oil would be sold at market prices, quote, to benefit the people of Venezuela and the United States.

An immigration enforcement officer fatally shot a woman in Minneapolis, Minnesota, while carrying

out a raid. A Department of Homeland Security official said the victim had tried to run over ICE agents with her car

in order to block the operation. Mr. Trump blamed the incident on, quote, the radical left. Other

eyewitness reports disputed DHS's account, Minneapolis's Democratic mayor, Jacob Frye, called it, quote, bullshit.
