I like to think we're stockpiling our goods for next Wednesday's edition,

but that's merely optimistic wishful thinking at this point.

Let's get into our bad Martinis.

We've referred to in passing over the past couple of weeks, the shortage in diesel.

And that's a problem because you need diesel to move stuff around the country.

And when you don't have enough diesel, well, you can't move stuff.

And the stuff that you can move gets a whole lot more expensive.

It was just a couple of days ago that Mansfield Energy announced there was a developing

diesel fuel shortage in the southeastern region of the United States,

quote, poor pipeline shipping economics and historically low diesel inventories

are combining to cause shortages in various markets throughout the southeast.
