What kind of friendfries are the best?

Well, isn't that a rather subjective question? I mean to each man, there is his favourite.

Or each woman, let's not be sexist here, because they make the fries right.

Oh, behave Gorka! Actually, I know how to make fries, what the secret is.

You've got to freeze them after the first fry. Freeze them.

And then you fry them again, and they are splendid.

What's your favourite type of French fry?

It's a very personal question. Let me tell you that there is a certain restaurant on 14th Street in Washington, DC, that has fabulous.

I'm very partial to like, uh, string fries. You know, the super thin ones, really crispy.

Maybe a little bit of truffle oil on top, if you're feeling, you know, fancy.

And the French restaurant that takes, oh my gosh, if you can get a booking now, I used to go there when it wasn't like the place to go.

But there's a restaurant called Le Diplomat. It's a bistro in the French style, has baskets of fabulous string fries.

Why am I talking about it? Because it seems it's for the elite in DC.
