Now, lots has been going on in the news. It's a holiday week. You expect things to slow down. Maybe people take a breath. They take some time off.

But not former FBI director James Comey. Oh no. James Comey took to Twitter over the weekend. And he said this.

I often hear Trump supporters say they don't pay attention to his tweets, but you must. And ask yourselves whether they reflect the values you want in a president and in America.

What he tweets matters is that who you are, is that who you want your kids to be. Don't look away. Those words sent out by former FBI director James Comey joining us now on America for such a pleasure to have a guy I call my friend.

Well, it's so nice to have you here and you know, over the weekend, FBI director James Comey was tweeting out.

The people should pay attention to President Trump's tweets. And Michael, I know you go out on the talk circuit a lot. You do speeches and events.

I do the same thing. And what I get a lot from people who are Trump supporters and love his accomplishments is that some of them do take issue with the tweets. Now, when your dad was in the White House, he was challenged by the media at every turn.

He didn't have social media to respond, but he was certainly tackled by the media in his own right, just like President Trump is.

And Trump has the ability to use social media to kind of correct his own narrative. But what did your dad do to overcome some of this without that social media aspect that make a lot of people uncomfortable. Some people love it.

But others certainly don't from President Trump.

He let it go.
