This is America first, and here's your host, Dr. Sebastian Gorka.

0:54.0

Thank you, dear voice Dave. Welcome back, dear friends. I am a question for you. It's not rhetorical. It's not hypothetical. It's not even philosophical. When is a COVID? Not a COVID?

1:07.0

I think somebody can help answer that question. Is the host of the morning answer and the Jen and on-shon AM590 AM870, the answer also CRNTalk.com. Your favorite West Coast warrior.

1:19.0

I love it. You start me off giving me those big questions. When is a COVID? Not a COVID? What is a French laundry? What do you do there?

1:31.0

It's hard, I'm confused. I thought a laundry is where you clean your undies. The French laundry is much different than the speedy laundry that I go to.

1:43.0

The French laundry is maybe the fanciest, ritziest restaurant in all of California. It's perfect for you if you care for the working class.

1:58.0

Absolutely. If you want to send a message to the people, you are one of us, right? You go to the French laundry. I'll tell you what expensive. What's expensive? What's expensive? Oh, I can tell you. The menu, first of all, is not a real menu. You are handed the chef's tasting menu when you get there. And you can choose, I think, like, 714 or 21 courses, not even 21. Yeah, I think that's a top.

2:20.0

And so does it have sweet breads, also lot's, spleen, wolf nipple chip, all that good stuff. Excuse me, a wolf nipple chip. You did that in branch. Get them.

2:31.0

They're lovely. Come on. It doesn't yet. You want now. Does have some of that stuff. Okay. But Thomas Keller's a chef. He's fantastic. This is an amazing restaurant. Like world renowned people come to Napa to go there.

2:44.0

I don't know. That's a weird thing. But the plates, 300 bucks for the seven course, around 450 for the 14 course. And then $100 for the 20, like around 800 bucks for one person. Yes, for one person.

3:00.0

Okay. So why are we talking about it? The corkage fee. If you want to bring your own one, so you can buy, by the way, you can buy off their wine list, which is recommended. They do all the pairings and all of that. But if you want to bring your own wine in, let's say you've got a bottle of two buck chuck that you just have to go.

3:13.0

Some thunderbird. Yeah, go ahead. It's going to cost you $152 because the corkage fee is $150 just to bring your own wine and open it in the restaurant and pour it in one of their glasses. It's $150. So it's not job. I know. Right. I got job.

3:28.0

Just how does it take you open a bottle? I mean, what maybe 30 seconds 150 bucks? A couple of twists of the wrist and ready to.

3:34.0

That's what I'm saying. I'm sorry. What absolutely out of the question. So it's not even the reason why I'm talking about it. Because Gavin Newsom, our governor in California has had.

3:46.0

He's had a really bad couple of weeks. First of all, a judge and actually it was a starter with an assemblyman assemblyman Kevin Kylie challenged the fact, challenged the authority of Gavin Newsom to impart about 58 executive orders all in the name of COVID since March on California.

4:03.0

58. Yeah. And so Kevin Kylie went to court and a judge actually ruled in favor of Kevin Kylie, saying that Gavin Newsom did go overboard with his authority and they actually put a limitation on his ability to issue executive orders moving forward. That was number one.

4:21.0

What kind of security I'm just curious what, what like, you know, he can only do 30 a month. I mean, what we can't do any right now. His power is frozen because it's definitely doing preventing people from going to church.

4:31.0

Preventing businesses from from being allowed to open. They're saying that's far beyond the power of the governor and that the state legislature needs to be involved. They were not.
