Darrell Grove, whom we lost tragically on Thursday to cancer if you've been

following the show recently I've had a few moments

to pay tribute to Darrell just a terrific guy who's had a huge impact on the soccer community in the United States with his total soccer show

Podcast with Taylor Rockwell. If you listen to this podcast, you know, that both those guys have appeared regularly on our show this year. I think Darrell's last show on this one, ours was July 22nd. I went back and and listened to it again a couple

nights ago and you know it wasn't something that stood out in any particular way but it was just a really fun conversation with someone who really cared about the sport and was fun to talk about the sport with and a little bit like improv like always wanted to set you up so that you could look good in what you were saying as well and just want to send positive thoughts and vibes to Taylor Rockwell who has dealt with this

in a very sort of public way and I know this has been extremely difficult for him and

He actually texted me on Saturday morning asking me if I was doing okay and I told him I'll make it I'm hanging in

But it's pretty amazing that you're asking me how I'm doing when you're the one who has gone through so much with all of this.
