| 0:07.0 | It's time for you and for me to get our minds aligned with the truth of God |
| 0:12.0 | and we are doing that today by looking at John |
| 0:14.8 | Chapter 15. We have already heard just amazing things from Jesus about the |
| 0:21.3 | relationship that we have with him. |
| 0:23.0 | And what that is like on a deep spiritual level, |
| 0:27.0 | you know, sometimes the practical things that happen in life day to day, |
| 0:32.0 | those urgent crisis oriented things or responsibility |
| 0:37.8 | oriented things cloud our vision. They dull our minds, they cause us to forget things that are true of us because of our relationship |
| 0:49.0 | with Jesus. |
| 0:50.0 | And we need something like the morning mindset to help us. |
| 0:53.6 | It may not be the morning mindset that the Lord uses in your life every day. |
| 0:57.8 | There may be some time alone in the word of God that you spend. |
| 1:01.7 | There may be a conversation that you have with a believing friend that |
| 1:06.0 | reminds you and encourages you. But whatever it is, my friends, let's make sure that we are |
| 1:11.6 | having those moments with the Lord so he can speak to us where we push |
| 1:16.2 | away the clutter and the noise of the practical issues of every day in order to hear his voice. |
| 1:24.0 | Today in John 15, he is going to make a very blunt statement. |
| 1:30.0 | Jesus is going to speak to us in a very straightforward manner and it's one that is |
| 1:37.4 | a little unsettling at times because it is a statement that goes against much of what we've been told perhaps or much of what we feel. |
| 1:47.0 | But nevertheless, friends, before we get into the statement, let me just remind you of a truth that's foundational to us understanding who Jesus is and |
