Both of these words, in one way or the other, refer to Allah's mercy.

And the challenge with translating these words is that because they belong to the same origin, they almost seem synonymous.

And a lot of times in English translation, we actually use words that are rather ambiguous to translate them.

So the most beneficent, the most merciful, or the most merciful, the most kind.
