The coronavirus pandemic has now been more deadly for Americans than

the Vietnam War as the death toll passes 58,000. And now, perhaps unsurprisingly,

news that the US economy has shrunk for the first time in

almost six years by nearly 5%.

This follows China's economy contracting for the first time in nearly half a century and when that happens to the

two biggest economies the whole world feels it including many small businesses

across America which employ half the country's

private workforce. This week the US government reopened the pipeline for

but there are reports of delays and problems with the approval process.
