The Michael Vary Show is on the air. President Trump is in New York for the closing arguments in his trial there. I want to make sure you understand this. Do not take at face value

the media reports of anything related to Trump or anything else.

I told you when the headlines blared,

Trump not on the ballot in Colorado.

I told you I actually read the opinion and it was quite

clear out of seven judges on the Colorado Supreme Court it was still only a four three decision.

They knew what they were doing was wrong and they should be embarrassed of it but they

couldn't miss the opportunity to make a headline. But Trump wasn't off the

ballot. That's just it.

Trump was off the ballot if he did not file an appeal if he did not file an appeal with the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court didn't have to agree to hear it.

He didn't have to win it. He just had to file an appeal by January 4th, which was the last day on which you could appear, on which you could file in the state of Colorado.

Well, in 48 hours, Trump filed an appeal and he was back on the ballot,

but it got all the headlines it needed.

And that's really all that it was about.
