They did not advance the way they were supposed to.

These are real consequences for real people

because of the school lockdowns.

As our friend Corey DeAngelo says,

remote learning turned out to be remotely learning.

We saw businesses shut down multi-generational mom and pop businesses

shut down that never reopened.

Amazon boomed, Walmart.com boomed, target boomed.

The big companies, oh, they boomed to the exclusion

of the mom and pop businesses that make a small town

that make the interactive experience special.

You know, brick and mortar was already suffering

compared to Amazon, which doesn't have to pay

for the real estate to be available
