The Michael Vary Show is on the air. Oh, yeah. Last week there was an announcement that the Los Angeles Times was laying off 115

people. The LA Times was bought by a billionaire whose fortunes have fallen a bit of late.

He's not on food stamps, but the drain of the LA Times, he put his daughter in charge of it.

And she's quite the activist, and she's been fighting with the people who work there and most everybody else because

she's a spoiled little brat.

But the layoffs have occasioned the writers who basically were the theater kids when you were growing up.

They've all taken to social media because they're all on social media.

And making it seem like they're pinned in a foxhole and the Germans are

peppering their bunker with bullets and there's no chance they'll get out.

You got laid off. It happens. It happens to most people in the course of their lives.

But what's interesting about this is, it's part of a bigger trend. Sports Illustrated has laid off all of their staff.

After two years ago putting a fat woman in a bikini and a year ago for the swimsuit

issue putting a dude, causing self a woman. So they're both brave and bankrupt. And it goes on and on. Washington Post has laid

people off. There's one after the other after the other.

And it raises a very interesting question because there are changes happening.

For those of you ready to give up hope, there are changes happening.

It just happened very slowly.
