heard from me in a couple of months, they're going to call me because that's how people

are.

But I try to go through the list and check on how's business, what are you seeing?

It's also a great show prep.

It is a sense of the economy based on what people are doing, for instance.

If I call Mac and ask how things are going, if Mac sees a slowdown, you probably figured

well, interest rates have increased, people aren't buying as many new homes because almost

two-thirds of his furniture sales are people buying a new home.

People don't go out and just buy furniture as often unless they're moving into a new

home.

You're moving into a new home.

A lot of people will say, especially women, I don't want to bring any of that stuff into

this new home.

I want an all new home with all new furniture starting over.

Well, that's a big part of your business outfitting a whole, so interest rates going up,

which has the intention of slowing the economy, has turned out to do exactly that because

bringing down inflation means bringing down economic activity, the way you push prices
