You will remember this moment, the minute we begin playing it. It was 2008. Barack Obama is campaigning in Ohio.

And this thing is being filmed by the media. And there's a guy out front in his yard. He doesn't go running up. Senator Obama! Senator Obama! He's out in the front with his kids.

And Obama wants to show his connection to white working-class voters, rust belt voters.

They're going to tell him how he's inspirational, and they believe in him, and he's no idiot. This is a great moment.

The way a Republican candidate will have a black guy walk him aside him to show, hey, look how cool I am here.

I mean, this is the optics of a moment like this are very important. Obama begins to stray and walk over to this guy, thinking it's going to go well.

And because this guy wasn't at a rally, he wasn't a protester. He's out in his front yard mowing his own grass. And this happened.

Tax plan is going to tax me more, isn't it? It's not that I want to punish your success. I just want to make sure that everybody who is behind you, that they've got a chance in success too.

I think when you spread the world around, it's good.

This is the voter that Republicans are failing to get. Maybe he stays home. Maybe his wife votes for Biden because he's mean. Trump's mean.

So this is the voter who's so disillusioned. The best thing you can ever say. This is what the Democrats count on.

Is I ain't never going to vote for the Democrats ever, but I'm still aggravated with Republicans. I'm just going to stay home.

And the Republican establishment is responsible for that. And that's how the Democrats win.

The Republican establishment is losing that voter who may not be a Republican per se registered going to rallies, going to protest, but they hate what the Democrats are doing to such an extent.

They would vote Republican, but the Republican party gives them Jeb Bush and John McCain and Mitt Romney. And that's the frustration.
