lives in Kirk County.

He was the night watchman on July 3rd

into the morning of July 4th

of 2025 when the flooding took the lives

of Camp mystic campers and devastated that community. He is now the emergency preparedness

coordinator, which the state required that they have a person assigned as that.

And he is our guest telling his story, to my knowledge, the first and only time he has told that story,

publicly correct me if I'm wrong, Glenn.

But continue, if you would, through that night and what's happening from, as the floodwaters are rising yeah i did i did talk

from the new york times back in october after they decided to convene this investigative committee

but going back to the flood um you know it happened very quickly again not from the Guadalupe River, not from the South Fork.

It was from a dry creek, Edmondson Creek, where a wall of water came through the portion of

camp that I was in.

And there's evidence of a backwash of, so the wall of water either hit a debris dam

according to the Navy SEALs that walked me through it

and or a Texas Task Force One.
