this one gets me, getting excited about being adopted.

A child being excited that they're getting a forever home is one of the most powerful things I can ever see.

My friend Michael Robinson sent me last week a video of a child who got cochlear implants so a child that had never been able to hear before.

And then all of a sudden you see this child the first time they can hear.

Oh, the reaction. There was the case of the special glasses they made for a child that couldn't see or couldn't see colors,

and now they put them on and the child could see in color, not black and white anymore.

Those get me, those get me every time, and military veterans coming home from a combat region in uniform to surprise a

loved one especially a child but also a spouse. Oh those get me every time. Every time and I hope they

always do. You know when I ran our AM stations 15 years ago. The company had been bought and part of the purchase

was to eliminate duplicative services to change the business model and labor was a big form of that.

So the idea the company had was used technology instead of labor it's not my decision it's every

industry's done that but I had to lay a lot of people off and I hated it I hated it and somebody said to me, not in the radio industry, but a friend from before and he said,

well, if you do it long enough, you'll get used to it. I said, no, you don't understand.

I don't want to get used to it. I said no you don't understand I don't want to get used to it. I hope I always

hate it. As long as I hate it I'm human when you don't feel bad that you're sending someone home without a job that had a job this morning,

to have to face their kids and go, hey, son, we may not have Christmas,

when you don't feel bad about that, a part of you has died. I don't want to let that die.
