I've always followed the career of Wayne Dolchifino. We got to know each other pretty well over the years, and he is our guest. Let's talk about the Wayne D'Urchfino career. We'll start at the beginning. Where were you born? Where'd

you go to high school? I know most of this, but most folks probably don't. I have born in Brooklyn,

and you know, you have the flappish steak that's with you your entire life. And because you

learned to cuss in an early age. I moved to Houston. My dad was in the beauty business and

moved down here and went to high school

at Bel Air. What did your dad do? My dad used to own beauty salons in Brooklyn. And he left that business

and became the rep for a company that was distributing beauty products in the South.

It was an Italian thing.

I don't want to say it was a mob thing, but it was clearly an Italian thing, okay?

The Italians owned a lot of those beauty supply operations.

And what was the business?

It was selling beauty supplies.

Everything from brushes, the shampoos, all that kind of stuff, right? Who was his normal customer? And when my dad died, weirdly, they did not hire anyone else

because they wanted me to decide if I wanted to go in that business. Clearly, I did not.

I was already in radio for six or seven years. I'd worked at KLBJ. I worked at KTRH. I did the weekend fishing news

at 3, 4 in the morning. And every week in Austin, I would drive home to do the early morning

news and radio. You know, that's kind of one of the differences, Michael, if I could say real quick,
