I spent some time this weekend trying to do what gets hard to do in a 24 hour news cycle,

and that is take a step back from each individual battle, each news story, each moment, each

crisis, and focus on the bigger picture.

Through the trends, what is the forest, not the individual tree?

And I started thinking about something, and that is that just a few short years ago,

let's take the issue of your children, because really that's the battle that if the left can

win, nothing else matters.

Taking your guns is nothing compared to taking your children.

So I started thinking about how even in prison, you know, they have to keep the pedophiles away

from the general population, because it doesn't matter what a guy did when he went to prison

to go there, unless he's a pedophile.

That's the crime that even in prison, they won't tolerate.

I'll dare you, you monster.

In a very short period of time, with a very effective strategic campaign well placed,

and frankly some pure moxie, there are people who openly defend pedophiles.

How do you do so? What did Orwell teach us?
