We had an intern named Coco, a young black woman who was a senior on that day and because she was a senior, they, one of their, you know, privileges is, were they off the whole day?

Remember?

I think they were off the whole day.

And so she's not there, but you know, you got friends that are at school and she just happens to not be at school.

Lucky her.

That's the day of the school shooting.

So she was our intern following year

and she's one of my favorite interns we ever have she's fantastic

I wonder whatever happened to her track her down she did not join the circus you

always say people join the search she did did not join the circus. Well, there was a young man who

did show up to school that day named Rome Schubert. That's a good actor's name. That's a good stage

name. And he was shot during that shooting at

Santa Fe High School in 2018. And this weekend he will wrap up his college baseball pitching career at Sam Houston,

took a bullet to the back of his neck, exited the side miraculously without damaging his spine.

He says one of the biggest things is not letting the shooter win. You don't need to get revenge on him or tell him he needs to go to hell or needs to die or
