I'm going to go back of the napkin calculation because Center Point is in the

Crosshairs and should be. Those people don't understand how Center Point operates and why they don't have any competition.

And I came across something very interesting.

Center Point Energy's annual gross profit for 2021 was $6.01 billion, a 6.06% increase from 2020. I'm not opposed to anybody making a profit. They had a 6.06% increase in 21 from 20.

Centerpoint Energy's annual gross profit for 2022 the next year was 6.23 billion a 3.54% increase from 2021. So that a 6% increase year over

year and a 3.54% increase on that in

2023, 6.53 billion dollars, a 4.91% increase from 2022.

Huh.

But it gets even better.

6.06 was there 20-20 year over 19?

Centerpoint Energy's rolling gross profits.

It's not a year in.

For the 12 months, March 31st, just a couple months ago, was $6.702 billion, a 7.12% year over year.

Now what's fascinating about this is that they are growing significantly more profitable over the last few years.

They had negative quarterly growth

in the middle quarters of 2020.

In 2019 for one quarter, in 2017 for one quarter, in 2014 for one quarter and in all of 2013.

In all of 2013.

In other words, since the middle of 2020, and really, save for two quarters that were almost

met even, going back to 2019, Centerpoint Energy has become a profitability juggernaut.

Okay. If Mat max sells more mattresses and furniture, I'm happy. If Russell

I bar sells more enchiladas, I'm happy. If Will Hawkins, as has been the case, gets hired to clean
