What they did do, however,

we're going to withdraw our financial support of you.

Our financial ties to you.

And without us, you won't be able to conduct your business,

which put Putin in a predicament for which he had prepared.

So the withdrawal of funds from US banks, who does that hurt?

The other banks in the world that won our money.

The purchasing of products he purchased from the United States

from other countries.

Who does that hurt?

Well, it hurts Americans who were selling to the Russians

and it helps the people who now replaced us.

You won't have dollars to conduct trade.
