The turning of the Gregorian calendar doesn't make anything

any different in the grand scheme of things.

But somehow this turns out to be a great opportunity, a long-standing

ritual of self-improvement or the new year. And normally it's at about this time midway through January that

people start to trail off you notice that the the gems that people just join to start the year, that they're starting to lose some of their

membership.

Well, this year, not necessarily by some grand design, we waited two weeks in instead of starting at the beginning of the year so

that maybe the new has worn off and this is where you re-up your commitment to good health.

What I wanted to do because I think this is probably the most important aspect of your good health is the things that are covered by heart health.

And I am very fortunate to have the best cardiologist in the whole wide world as declared by me.

I am very fortunate to have him as my cardiologist and you're very fortunate that he's going

to spend the next hour with us talking about simple easy things you can do.

I don't expect you to run a marathon. I'm not even convinced that's good for your health.

I don't expect you to do anything dramatic. We're talking about little

things you can do to be healthier, to feel better, to look better, and yes, maybe to

extend your life.

But let's talk about the here and now.
