November 2018, Dan Crenshaw was elected to Congress.

I'm embarrassed to say I helped in that effort.

I believed he would be a very good congressman from what he said and from what others told me.

I worked very hard to get him elected to Congress.

With the pure heart and the best of intentions,

I typically don't get that involved in races.

And I have been disappointed ever since terribly to the point that some days I wish I'd never been involved in supporting a single candidate.

It brought me such embarrassment, disappointment, and regret.

And I have often pledged that if a good candidate ran in that race, that I would support that

candidate to a greater extent than I had supported Dan Crenshaw.

Steve Tooth is announcing today that he will be running in that congressional seat.

He is a state representative.

He is a big part of the Freedom Caucus in the state house.

He lives in the district, and he is very popular among the base.

That is MAGA folks. That is folks that share my values. He will be our

guest coming up in the next segment. His event tonight at 630 at Grace Woodlands Church, which is

where he will be announcing. Chad Prather will be hosting. There will be other members of the State House, the folks that do good work.

There are actually some good ones up there in what he is calling his big, beautiful

announcement.
