Well for the first time in history today a sitting or former in this case former

in this case former president we'll meet with his probation officer.

President Trump set to be sentenced as far as I know that's still on for tomorrow. It is possible he could be jailed, it is certainly within the

realm of possibility. It is possible he could be held under house arrest.

He's not a flight risk.

So, well, that's a long conversation and we're going to have that in the coming days.

Also, unprecedented, today, the sitting president's son, Hunter Biden, will take the stand in his own trial, a firearms

felony case. He has three charges against him, including saying that he was not

an addicted or using illegal substances when he filled out a firearms form and of course he did.

There are three felonies that he is potentially going to be convicted of. His daughter

Naomi took the stand and was actually a pretty good witness. She said exactly what they told

her to do. And you can read the transcript and see how perfectly she regurgitated exactly what they told her to say.

Hunter Biden is, I wouldn't say expected to take the stand, but may take the stand today.

As you know, because you've watched lots of movies, a defendant can choose to take the fifth and not testify in their own trial.

Used to be the case that you would hear that if a defendant did not take the stand,

then jurors would look at that as he's got something to hide.

But as science has increasingly replaced

a sort of gut feeling for criminal defense attorneys, I think that that

opinion has changed.

And the reason is because many defendants can hang themselves. Many

defendants, if it's a case involving violence and you've got a defendant who a prosecutor is trying to show the capacity

for violence, a short fuse, a rage, then rather than ask questions that lead to what he's trying to get to, instead
