But the reason I want to talk about

the contents of this book is because many Christians

struggle with assurance of salvation. I was one of them years ago,

especially throughout my early teenage, mid-teenage years. I wondered whether I was saved. I remember every day,

sometimes I pray again to receive Christ just to make sure that I was

sincere enough that God would accept me and I know that I'm not the only one who struggled with that.

Many Christians struggle with that and I think one of the things that ties this into

some of the content that I've been producing lately and I know Pastor Joel talks about this content as well

is the fact that the social justice movement tends to

blur the distinction between law and grace and they infuse the law with their social justice

initiatives and so you're not a good Christian unless you practice equity
