Yay, Networks!

Welcome back to the miscellaneous podcast. I'm Elena, your host. And speaking, I

suppose, of the concept of time and time passing generally, I'd like to go

ahead and point out that this is the week of June 13th. It's a very notable

day in my lifetime for a couple of reasons. One, it's the day I lost my

virginity. Or is it technically the 14th? Like, I always say it's like such a big

important day to me and then I'm always like, but which day was it? Say, think it

might have been the 14th. Or it's the 14th because it happened after midnight.

Listen, I don't really remember, but it's right around here. It was also the day

that I was kidnapped, which if you're new to the podcast or new to following me,

just new here generally, that sounds horrifying, right? But it was the day that I

was taken officially from the CBS producers and Big Brother crew and handlers

and film people and the audio guy and this director and they just snatched me

up and took me to LA and tortured me for three months. So I guess it is pretty

on par with kidnapping. Normally that's how it goes, right? They grab you and they

take you away from all your luxuries and normal seas and contact to your loved

ones and then they mentally and physically abuse you until some form of Stockholm

syndrome, I guess, like creeps in and then you're fine with it. So that's what happened

to me. I'm just kidding. I'm dramatic if you all didn't know. But I mean, to be fair,

everything I said isn't necessarily a lie. But it is a notable day for me because I

feel like it's kind of a catalyst to my life changing, hugely changing. It's why I have

this podcast and get to talk to y'all and post memes on Instagram, even though I'm definitely
