Always Be My Maybe, the Netflix romantic comedy that stars Allie Wong, and Randall Park

as childhood friends and one-time lovers who reunite after 16 years under very different circumstances. Sasha is a celebrity chef, while Marcus is a musician who never left their neighborhood in San Francisco after the death of his mother. Hang. Hi, Ingu. Hello, hello. So I've already mentioned Ali Wong and Randall Park,

who not only star in the movie, but they actually produced it and they co-wrote the script with

Michael Galamco. Wong has said that they envisioned the project as their version of When Harry Met Sally,

classic rom-com, but there's another very important co-star of this movie.

I feel we should mention up front, and that is Keanu Reeves playing himself,

and whose role Netflix was kind of keeping secret for a while,

but then they put him in the trailer, it's kind of weird.

They actually, when I went to go see this movie, like at Netflix headquarters, they made me sign

an NDA saying that I would not reveal Keanu's role in the movie, and then like the next day,

they were like, here's Keanu, the trailer.

Yeah, I was surprised at how big his role in this movie was.

I thought it was going to be like a one-and-done, you know, a scene cameo where he shows he's a good sport playing himself.

But it was an enduring appearance.
