We begin with the story of the moment of an AI-generated picture of the Pentagon burning.

Generated falsely.

However, it led to incident on Wall Street.

A cell-off, a sharp cell-off, were told.

I don't trust any of this now, but I'm reporting what we're told.

That AI-generated image is not very convincing, but you don't have time to hesitate when

you're trading with algorithms at the scale of the Wall Street trades and other markets.

However, the report says Russian media spread the word everywhere about this attack on

the Pentagon.

It's false.

It's entirely false.

The reason I mention it is that I welcome Bill Rojo of the Foundation for the Defense

of Democracy, who keeps the long-word journal with his colleagues.

In mentioning that, the false image, we come to images that were provided by, I believe,

the Pentagon, a drone image that the Washington Post reproduces, of what is said to be a KIA

of a senior al-Qaeda leader in Syria.

Now the Pentagon has retracted this statement.

So Bill, I complicate all of our lives here by saying we always waited for a martyr tape

or in some fashion, a declaration by al-Qaeda or ISIS or the Taliban of a KIA.
