I'm Lynn Hilton Wilson.

And I'm Jack Welch.

And we're thrilled to be able to talk about Alma's Chapter 17 to 22.

We get the first five chapters of the Sons of Mosaic's Mission to the Lamanites.

And this is filled with storylines as well as fabulous information on characteristics of a good missionary, the sacrifices

that are required to build the kingdom, and some phenomenal ancient historical facts.

But most of all, you know, you're not going to be presented here with lots of difficult,

lengthy, covenant speeches, or doctrinal discussions.

In these chapters, we're just hearing the facts of what these four sons of Mosiah did.

Chapter 17, verse one, now it came to pass that as Alma was journeying from the land of Gideon southward away to the

land of Mantai, behold to his astonishment, he met with the sons of Mosiah, journeying

toward the land of Jerusalem.

I don't know about your life, but when God puts people in my life, in the same path I'm going, if I run

into someone that I'm not expecting, I just feel like sometimes the Lord has put us in the same

place at the same time because he hasn't seen these sons of Mosiah since back in Mosiah,

you know, at the very end of the book of Mosiah, chapter 28, verses 1 through

9, we talked about this.

And sometimes the Lord is putting people in our path for good reasons.

Well, this was absolutely miraculous, and they had both gone through so much in these 14 years.

And now we get a flashback to read more about what the Sons of

Messiah had been doing. Chapter 17, verse 2 reads, now the Sons of Mosaic were with Alma at the time
