thank you for being here, man. My pleasure, Sam. I definitely agree with you that I think a lot of

your listeners have probably come into contact with my work because I think, you know,

even the name of the podcast, you guys specialize in chaos and making sense of it and what says

chaos like the Comfacath region. So basically nothing, except for maybe the African region,

as we learned earlier this week in the Cup of Nations.

I was saying, when you sort of expand your world, it's not just Concca Gap, right?

It's everyone has their struggles.

I saw an African football journalist pointing out that several European matches have then ended early in the past calendar years.

So I guess not the calendar, you know, 2021.

So it wasn't just Africa. But there's, Eastern Europe, my people, they get chaotic too. There's plenty of chaos in Kalki Kaka Kappa Kappa Kappa Kappa Kappa. So yeah, we'll try and make sense to the man. I'm glad to be here. It's a pleasure. Indeed. But on a very serious note, like John's newsletter, I learned something new every single time.

He covers crazy stories from Curisow or Trinidad or all these different far-fung places that no one else covers.

And it's like actually a legitimately really cool and interesting thing that he does.

So if you don't already, please go check it out. But we are going to start not with Conccaf stuff, but with some FC Dallas stuff. And I guess, you know, it is it is Concaf adjacent as well. And specifically Ricardo Pepe, a move that we sort of glossed over on last week's show where we spent a lot of time talking about TFC and Lorenzo Insigne.

But Pepe, of course, moved to FC Augsburg in the German Bundesliga for a fee that could get as high, reportedly, as $20 million.

Earlier this month, he made his debut for Augsburg last weekend, played 30 minutes off the bench for them.

John, that's a really, really high number.
