We saw a flurry of moves ahead of the deadline

on Thursday nights. We are going to break all of those down. We're going to talk about the ones that

stood out in good ways and bad, a couple of blockbuster-type moves, some really significant ones.

So we'll get into all of that. Just a quick kind of programming note here. We are recording this

obviously after the window closed. That was on Thursday night. Right now is Friday morning. Due to some

scheduling issues, we had to fit this into a tight window on Friday morning. So we recorded the other

two segments of the show where we talked about new ownership in Orlando. Paul had a discussion

with Mark Wilf, who's kind of leading the charge for the Wilf family

with Orlando City and the Orlando Pride. So we talked about new ownership there. We talked about

a few kind of housekeeping items. We talked about some all-star game stuff as well. But, you know,

we also talked about a couple of outgoing moves. So apologies, if we if we double back in cover

ground. We did record this on two different days. So a little bit of a strange episode. But anyway, that's not really that big of a deal. Paul, it was deadline day. What did you think, man? Leo Messi did not come to MLS yet, but maybe he will. Yeah, not yet. Not going to happen right now, obviously, because the window's closed. Well, wait. He's a free agent. He's a free agent. He can sign outside of the window. It's not over yet. It's not over yet. Colorado Rapids could still happen. Actually, I did ask Borg Smith on the record yesterday if they were signing Leo Messi, and he said no. So it is not happening.
