I wouldn't want to be in that position. I'm excited for today's show. We got some good kind of allocation disorder topics. I might yell a little bit. Not really sure. I feel like it's going to get spicy. I feel like it's going to get spicy. That's what it feels. Yes. This first topic might not be the spiciest, though.

I don't know.

Maybe it will be.

DC United made the big move of this week in major league soccer.

They hired Wayne Rooney.

He's back.

After a few years away, he, of course, played for the club in 2018 and 2019, then bailed one and a half years into a three-year contract. He has been hired as head coach following the club's

seven zero disastrous MLS worst, or tied for MLS worst defeat at Philadelphia last Friday. He

was appointed earlier in the week. News broken by our

colleague and buddy Pablo Mauer, who has written a couple of good articles about the subject already.

Paul, this wasn't a complete shock. It wasn't totally out of the blue. Rune obviously has connections

with D.C. as mentioned, good relationship with club ownership there,

sort of rumored as a candidate.

But I think, you know, when I saw the news, I was a little bit surprised that he's not staying in England.

What do you make the move from his perspective?

And more importantly, what do you make of it from a DC Knight's standpoint?
