Karen Gill, the granddaughter of Bill Shankly and the author of the real Bill Shankly book

joining us today.

So a very warm welcome Karen, we honored to have you as a guest.

We know you live in Athens so what's the reason for you for being in Liverpool?

Well I just came over really with my daughter and I wanted to show her I wanted to

show her around you know and we went up to Glasgow we had a little trip to just to see you know where her great ancestors came from really.

So where did you actually go to Glenboat?

Well we could be it's not open to the public at the moment but it will be after the 2nd of September

obviously there's going to be a big ceremony and so no but we did meet you know some people from around there some people who have been involved in in the whole memorial you, trying to erect the memorial for my grand dad, yeah.

Yeah, yeah, we will talk about that later.

I think, you know, basically talk about the Arsenal game really and I think what can you say about

Liverpool starting the season it just seems like for me it just seems like a

continuation of last season because we're looking at the city results and

they're looking at ours we're win and one hoping they're gonna drop point just

seems a continuation John do you think?

It's really much so really yeah yeah I think first of all I think to one of three games particularly the

Southampton game the way we did. It's always hard Southampton. Hard still because of the

trip to Istanbul, you know, which is a trophy we all wanted to win, no doubt
