Welcome to another edition of Ali La Rouge for the Liverpool Echo. I'm your host Peter Hooten and I'm joined by regular

guests, Steve mono, John Nicholson and Keith Colvin. It's your regular fortnightly look at all things Liverpool FC but we haven't had a match

recently so there's been other things happening obviously with the international

break everyone falls asleep when it comes to that. But in terms of other things we've had, we've had

scudamore being awarded quite a reasonable handshake, a golden handshake.

We've also had the introduction of VAA for next season,

so we can talk about that.

We can also talk about Shaqui's brilliant performance for Switzerland against Belgium and also Van Dyke's

new role as a striker if anyone saw his goal against Germany with that great comeback for Holland the other night.

So first of all, though, last but not least,

we'd like to talk about Sean Cox's brothers' visit to Liverpool

last weekend when Martin Cox and and in arranging the town or reception for them.

You've got to remember that Sean Cox unfortunately was attacked in

Anfield before the Rome we gave back in April.

So there's been a fundraising effort for his rehabilitation the care he needs for

rehabilitation and so Monard did that come about the town hall visit because you know

pretty impressive to get the town hall. We have a councillor Ian Byrne who was on the Spidesia Schenckley Committee and it was

Eined that pulled it off for us through the Mayor Johnson. So a massive thank you to the tour involved there.

It was very fitting to take the two brothers there and they were blown away by, you know, by

going to the specific town or Liverpool.
