Hello, welcome to another edition of Ali La Rouge for the Liverpool Echo, the Blood Red

Podcast. Today and I'm pleased to be joined by Dan Kaye, Echo Journalist Correspondence, and also joined by people who have been on the show before it's the

League Cup Squad the MK Dunn Squad it's it's Joe Bloss from the Spille Shankly and Ian Bain from Food Banks amongst other things.

So welcome everybody so you know what about the weekend,

riding high I mean everyone was a bit nervous about Chelsea,

it's always a difficult game at Chelsea, no matter, you know, they've got a new manager, but

fantastic first half performance, had to dig in for the second half

but in the end I think you know people saying I was a bit of an ugly win in the

end because we were all we're all on the edge of our seats thinking oh no they're gonna get an equalizer

but Dan job done wasn't it the top of the league? Very much so Peter. In many ways

this was arguably the most challenging game of Liverpool season so far

particularly coming on the back of a tough opening European assignment to wait

in appellee and by largely passed it with flying colors and me personally I

was particularly delighted because finally after this

is my 10th visit to see Liverpool the way at Chelsea going back to as far as 1995 and

finally I'd never ever seen us win there and I was was trying to think I was the jinx.

So when that final whistle blew there was a big sigh of relief.

I think in many ways two-one.
