We need to figure out how to be more productive in our day, how to pull huge levers on a consistent basis to get us further faster,

how to get out of the never-ending-to-do list, and that's when we started reading

books, hiring coaches, going to conferences and seminars, and figuring out what works and what doesn't and what

separates successful people from people that are just floundering and what those

habits, traits, and skills were and are that allow people to get further faster

and we would just start implementing in our existing business, in our joint venture and in our solo businesses that we're also running.

And through this, we developed a,

an affinity for liking the growth and development that we were working on and we created a simple framework for ourselves and that framework is now today the self-journal but it wasn't the

self-journal when we started it was a blank moleskin and we would just fill out this framework every day and crush work day in and day out.

We would do more work in a day than most people get done in a week and then we finally said hey you know what we're pretty good at

creating products why don't we create this product for ourselves so we don't have to

write in this moleskin skin every day.
