Congress is investigating reports that the Pentagon committed a war crime in the Caribbean.

On Friday, the Washington Post alleged that on September

2nd, Secretary Hegeseth ordered a seal team to, quote, kill everybody on a vessel ferrying

drugs from Venezuela, prompting a Navy Admiral to order a second strike after the first left two survivors.

The alleged double strike, illegal if targeting shipwrecked defenseless people,

was the first attack in the maritime campaign that since killed over 80 alleged

narco terrorists.

The White House confirmed the Admiral ordered the second strike, but said he was

quote, well within his authority, and denied that Hegeseth gave the kill order. The report has prompted

bipartisan concern from Congress. Members of the Senate and House Armed Services Committees

have promised a full investigation

and are hearing closed-door testimony from the Admiral tomorrow.
