He's come up in a bunch of conversations that I've had in episodes and very interesting background but the lead

into disgusting the route in the lead into discussing the route I'm going to cover a political

assassin the guy Lance Belter and he was the guy in Minnesota who murdered two people he was in Minneapolis area, but he himself has an interesting background and an interesting

confession.

And he's a story in itself in a lot of ways.

But he, this was the shooting that took place.

He killed Minnesota House Speaker

Amerita or Emeritus Amerita

Melissa Hortman and her husband and their dog

and then he drove somewhere else and shot John

state senator John Hoffman and Yvette

Hoffman and he kind of did it in a sophisticated manner. He had he was impersonating a cop.

He had a full face mask. He was stalking them. So it wasn't a crime of passion. This is June

2025. This is just one assassination, the whole spate of assassinations

this year and recently. So I've, you know, I've titled this political assassin, Lance Bolter,

Lieutenant Commander Thomas Nerut, and the Days of Lead, because there's just so much going on.

Bolter was an appointee by Waltz, right? Waltz is the guy who ran for vice president with Kamala Harris. And he laid the blame for the shooting on Waltz. At least I think there was a public statement. I believe the story is kind of dropped off, but it shouldn't have it. I don't know where they're at. He was charged with a bunch of charges. I don't know where they are in the thing.

He was,

Bolter was 57 kind of relatively older guy and had a religious background and traveled

around the world in Gaza and Congo and strange places.

And there's conflicting accounts about his political affiliation.
