It is Tuesday morning as Mike Riley and I record this AW-Rvolution Recap podcast. The show took place on Sunday night.

The big story, Mike Riley, coming out of it, is the post-match final explosion.

So the AEW champion, Kenny Omega versus John Moxley, was an exploding final explosion. So the AEW champion Kenny Omega versus John Moxley was an exploding rope,

a no ropes exploding barbed wire death match.

And Kenny Omega retains over John Moxley.

This was a really strong match that we're going to go over,

but it was over, it came off as a disappointment because

the final explosion post-match failed to meet our expectations. So I do wonder, what was everybody

expecting here? Was the ring supposed to go up in flames with whoever was inside it? Was the

ring post supposed to shoot high in the with whoever was inside it? Was the ring post supposed to

shoot high in the air? Like watching the explosions during the match, they weren't heavy,

they weren't building filling. They were close contact, small explosives relative to where they

were. And that's what happened at the end. They set off the explosions that didn't go off.

Maybe the ring sparklers on the posts didn't help. But I just, I wonder what people's
