I don't know why I started with that is, like, the cheesiest thing I've ever done,

and I, you know, I do some spectacularly cheesy things.

But this is a special episode about a new Astro Tour.

And you know what?

Astro Tour is a thing now.

It's a name.

So for those of you who don't know, in February of 2018, Fraser

Kane and I are leading a trip to Iceland to go hunting for Aurora. And we set up that,

this little concept of, hey, let's go on a trip, experience some science, and bring some people

along, and we'll have a good time.

And we had no idea.

If it'd be a popular idea, unpopular idea, good idea, bad idea, turns out it is ridiculously popular.

We honestly thought we'd get one, maybe two dozen people.

There's 44 people signed up for the trip.

We're at capacity. We've up the iceland tour bus and there's a wait list like a dozen people strong so it is wow okay

people are really into this you want to go on trips you want to experience science for yourself

so we we started

talking more and we haven't even gone to Iceland yet at the time of this recording. But we thought,

hey, if it's really popular, we got to do this again. Because this seems like there's,

there seems like there's an appetite for this kind of thing. So we are leading a new trip. The new trip is in September of 2018, and it's as opposite a Iceland excursion in the middle of winter that you could possibly get.
