Today I am talking all about the dedications of Agatha Christie because, as we all know,

Agatha Christie published a lot of books, 66 full length mystery novels and much besides

that.

And she often, though not always, included dedications at the front of those books.

And sometimes Catherine and I would mention those dedications when we were reviewing

her novels and doing our ranking exercise and being very systematic about things.

But we didn't often discuss the dedications.

We certainly didn't always discuss them.

And I think they're actually an interesting artifact within Christie's novels because

they give us a sense of where she was in her life and who she was speaking to and close
