This is the Big Blue Banter New York Science Football podcast. I'm Dan

Schneier. And joining us always on my co-ist Nick Vallado. If you just joined us after the

offensive podcast, you probably might have heard my computer crap out at the end. We're hoping it's

better right now. I've done some things to try to fix that because we want to talk about the defense

today. We went over the offense. Now it's time to break down the defense on film. That's fun. It wasn't fun watching this offense on film. It almost never is. But this defense has been a lot of fun to watch on film as of late. And we're going to talk about them today in this game. We're going to talk about them here tonight. So Nick, get us started. What was your overall

takeaways from this performance by the defense. What an opportunistic defense, man, taking

advantage of a quarterback who struggles throwing the football. But before we get into just the

individual efforts and some play calls that we like from Patrick Graham, how exciting is it to

watch Philadelphia's rushing attack, man? I kind of love

what they do up front in several different occasions. Yeah, listen, Philly has a really unique

rushing attack. I was going to go into that too once we got in a little bit deeper. Like even some

of the stuff like people were like, oh, why couldn't the Giants figure out anybody to stop this? Well,

they were diverse in even some of the design runs for Hertz and just like the design runs for the running backs as well. They're diverse with how they use their blockers to set up these runs. It's clearly an offense that has practiced a lot of different run concepts well and has the guys to do it. Like the Giants run a lot of like, you tell me if I'm wrong on this.

It seems like the Giants run a lot of, they're not very diverse, I should say, with the run game. There's a lot of the same stuff we see week after week. But that's not the case for the Eagles, man. This was one of the best rushing attacks I've seen on film all year against the Giants. I don't feel like the Giants are overly stagnant, but when you watch a team like Philadelphia,
