Hey, everybody, most of you know my guest today, Alex Berenzen. Those who aren't familiar with his background.

Alex is an American writer and former New York Times journalist who was rewarded for the times and

has authored several thrilling novels in a book on corporate financial filings. He was born in New York,

grew up in Anglewood, New Jersey, graduated from Yale in 94 with a bachelor's degree in history

in economics. In the fall of 2003 and the summer of 2004, Berenzen worked covering the

occupation of Iraq for the New York Times. He then covered the pharmaceutical and health care

industries, specializing in issues concerning dangerous drugs beginning in 2008. Alex reported

on the burning made off $50 billion Ponzi scheme scandal. He is now a pariah among his his

former journalistic colleagues because he has integrity and an inclination to tell the truth,

even when it doesn't suit his career professional interests. And we're all very, very grateful to

that. Alex, the reason I wanted you on board, there's a couple of reasons. I mean the stuff that you

keep ranking out is amazing and it's so well researched and so reliable. I love to read your

post because you know you're very, very disciplined about making sure that you got your facts right.

The really interesting thing that's happening now is your Twitter case and particularly the

recent revelations that show that the White House actually used your name in telling Twitter,

you got a deep left from this and that just seems like an open and shut clear cut first amendment

violation. And I don't see how they get out of it. But anyway, tell us what happened.

Sure, you know, as you know, and people watching this know last year, there was a lot of pressure

on social media companies about the vaccines. And you know, in 2020, taking a position really

that the lockdowns were a mistake and that school closures were a mistake. And you know, I think a

lot of people on the right actually supported me pretty strongly. And then the vaccines came out,

the cover vaccines came out in December 2020. And I initially really wasn't strong. I didn't have
