So we've known that alcohol is a carcinogen for a long time. This is not new news.

The International Agency for Research on Cancer has classified alcohol as a group one carcinogen since 1988.

In 2010, it was found that there is no generally safe threshold for alcohol consumption.

And in 2021, it was found that there is no safe level of alcohol for brain health and even moderate drinking shrinks the brain.
