back catalog and pick out one of my favorites and this is a Christmas

special. This is from Christmas 2016 and features Alistair Campbell and Ed Balls.

Very early on, it dawns on me that Alistair and Ed may not have actually had this conversation

before about the whole Blair Brown thing and the end of the last labor government and it was only when I was sat on stage with them.

Ed by the way just done strictly and Alistair ends up playing the back pipes while they're dancers. I mean it it's as

batshit as it sounds but it starts off and I remember thinking oh my god you know I

always try and book guests that I think would be a good mix that would be a good laugh and obviously

Alistair and Ed are always phenomenal guests but at the start I thought oh my god that they've never really had it out so to speak so this was this

was electric in a way that I probably should have foreseen but but didn't and so yes this is

part of a replay series that I'm doing while I'm in

hospital recovering from surgery and having what's it they call it physio and stuff.
