Hey everybody Rob mower here and today we are continuing our discussion around Tesla's production status in Fremont. We now have an official statement from the county as well as California's attorney general on the matter.

And with that I think we have some semblance of finality on this issue, meaning hopefully we can start to move forward.

Tesla stock on the day today was down in a challenging macro environment 2.3% to $790.96

that compared to the NASDAQ down 1.6% and in terms of other automakers at least in the United States

Tesla fared the best with GM Fiat Chrysler and Ford all down in the 3.5 to 5% range

All right we'll start with a statement from the county.

This came out late last night.

This is from Alameda County's public health department.

On the matter with Tesla, they say, quote,

we received Tesla's site-specific Fremont

COVID-19 prevention and control plan yesterday, as anticipated.

A site-specific plan is part of the governor's guidance for reopening manufacturing.

We reviewed the plan and held productive discussions today with Tesla's representatives about their safety and prevention plans, including some additional safety recommendations.

If Tesla's prevention and control plan includes these updates and the public health indicators remain stable or

improve. We have agreed that Tesla can begin to augment their minimum business

operations this week in preparation for possible reopening as soon as next week.

We will begin working with the Fremont Police Department

to verify Tesla is adhering to physical distancing

and that agreed upon health and safety measures

are in place for the safety of their workers

as they prepare for full production.
