I believe it is going to take a seminal event, probably in this country, where hundreds, if not thousands, die,

before Americans realize we are at war with this guy, meaning bin Laden.

And he said, well, we're doing our best to make sure that doesn't happen.

And we got up, we walked out of his office,

we were going to look at some overhead satellite imagery of what now is commonly known,

but that then was very closely guarded, which was Tarnak Farms,

major training camp for al-Qaeda operatives.

And 20 minutes after I said that, the first plane hit the North Tower.
