Hello everyone. Welcome to Red Men TV. It is Red Men bite size. Of course. I'm Chris Payjack and I'm here with the latest Liverpool news for you. Wednesday, the 4th of February

2026. How did we get into February already? Mental. Anyway, we are here to talk Roundtable Reaction, obviously from the interview with Richard Hughes and Arna Slott and everyone else. We're going to be talking why Liverpool went for Jacques over Mark Gehie. We're going to be talking about Harvey Elliott, Kieran Morrison and of course, Mo Salah.

So let us get into it right now.

So we're going to start off with Richard Tud's stance on Arn's slot.

Now, first of all, this interview, if you haven't seen it, is available on the Liverpool

FC YouTube channel. It's about 30 minutes long. It's quite a good round table. Actually, it's good for club media anyway, shall we say. Probably, I think it's fair to say, as a fan, we didn't get the questions asked that we probably would have wanted. But I think that stands up as well, to be honest, when you think about press conferences and stuff. This is a Liverpool-owned interview.

It is propaganda at heart, even though it does come across quite candid at times.

But, yeah, we're going to be specifically talking about the Richards-using Honest Slot dynamic, not so much on the Billy Hogan stuff, because he has given an insight into Honest Slot.

Slot, as we know, probably went into 2026, facing a little bit of pressure.

Everyone's got their opinion on Honest Slot and rightfully so.

I think Zabi Alonzo becoming available, leaving Real Madrid, there's obviously added to that,

and made everyone a little bit tetchier than maybe they otherwise would have been,

and again, I think that's completely fair.
