When I say America is a white supremacist nation, I don't mean all white people have clan hoods

in their closet, far from it.

I mean the country is run by a system that rewards whiteness and punishes other races.

White supremacy means the way white people have the overwhelming majority of wealth and political power in this country. It's the way white people

are more likely to get hired and less likely to be killed by the police. America

might be the greatest country on earth, but it will never be as great as it could be until we dismantle white supremacy. How do we do that? How do we

What is white supremacy?

So we define white supremacy in the book

as a cultural, economic, and political system that thrives on the subjugation of people who are not white.

Yeah, yeah. Where do we see it?

Everywhere. True, true. Like, help me, again, is there, give me an example of it so we can help people, because I think people know what

interpersonal racism is and they generally default to that when we talk about racism?

Yeah, but even black people I think quite often see like somebody said something where they're really talking about micro-aggressions.
