Welcome, welcome, welcome to a very special re-release episode of the Distraction Pieces Podcast with Scroobius Pip.
This episode is a re-release of episode 65 of DPP, where Pip spoke to Akala. This is such a perfect companion to the re-release of the Killer Mike episode, as it reflects upon certain similar issues but from a UK voice. Akala is someone who’s been fighting the good fight for years, whether it be dropping heavyweight albums or taking the public to school live on air with ease and confidence (dropping pure knowledge on topics that have been sorely missed from ‘traditional’ education). This podcast was recorded in 2015, and so it’s very interesting to look back on it with some hindsight and benefit of knowing what happened in the years after it dropped. I’m sure a lot of us feel like we probably wanna go back to then… Anyway - it’s a wonderful episode so again, take some time with it, and let it into your day. You will not regret a minute.
